Recognizing that OEMs need different optical, power, thermal, and efficiency options in a 3535 footprint package, Lumileds developed three high-power LUXEON options that make it more straightforward to create tiered performance in a single luminaire, offer a range of luminaires with differing value propositions, or replace any other 3535 LED with any one of Lumileds’ options as a way to expand an existing line and or ensure leading reliability and performance. LUXEON HL2X

LUXEON HL2X is a domed high-power LED emitter designed specifically for outdoor and industrial applications like streetlights and high bay luminaires. The package is designed to deliver superior output, efficacy, color stability, and longevity regardless of application or environment.

LUXEON HL2X utilizes an industry-standard 3535 package with 3-stripe footprint. This compatibility allows for efficient and simpler conversion to the better performing LUXEON HL2X from any other similar platform.

  • Most usable light in application with a design emphasis on Beam Angle, Field Angle, Color Over Angle, and Optical Efficiency performance

LUXEON HL4X

LUXEON HL4X is a specially designed high-power domed emitter suitable for outdoor and industrial applications like stadium lights, streetlights, and high bay luminaires.

LUXEON HL4X provides maximum lumen outputs and overall system efficacy in an industry-standard 3535 package with a 3-stripe footprint. With plenty of light coming from a small LES device and an ability to sustain high drive currents, it is perfect for cost-efficient single optic, directional fixture designs.

LUXEON HL4Z is a specially designed high-power undomed emitter suitable for outdoor and industrial applications like stadium lights, streetlights, and high bay luminaires.

LUXEON HL4Z provides maximum lumen outputs and overall system efficacy in an industry-standard 3535 package with a 3-stripe footprint.  With plenty of light coming from a small LES device and flexibility of optical control, it is perfect for fixture designs need high flux density and precision light controls.
